Rabari traditions - Applique and Embroidery
Kuvar ben speaks of her work as inhabiting a shared space with the viewer. Her abstract compositions - created using appliqué and embroidery of her Rabari heritage- come from Life and the world she sees. Butterflies, insects, peacocks, flora, and geometric patterns from nature unfurl in an elaborate and complicated way. It is in this balance of fragmented imagination that she finds harmony, allowing the pieces to take shape organically rather than imposing strict order.
