The Puthkuzhy Series draws from the sacred ceremonial cloak of the Toda — the most elaborate expression of their embroidery tradition, worn at ceremonies and never made for sale. Each panel in this series translates the cloak's central composition into large-format artwork: the ivory vertical channels, the dense surrounding embroidery, the architectural weight of the original form, rendered anew on cloth.
